Our Soil Formula

Our soil blends are designed for healthy houseplants. Each peat-free mix balances airflow, drainage, and moisture retention while supporting steady nutrition. We adjust the proportions to suit the plant type and the material of its pot.

  • Ingredients

Coco coir, pumice, activated charcoal, worm castings, orchid bark, sand, and mosquito bits.

  • What’s Included

    • LECA (lightweight clay aggregate used as a drainage layer)
    • Ti Tree’s custom organic soil blend
  • - How to choose "Soil Size" in product page, according to Planter materials:

    • Glazed clay and nursery pots retain moisture longer. A chunkier, airier blend improves airflow around the roots and helps reduce waterlogging.
    • Unglazed clay is porous, allowing water and air to move through the pot more quickly. These pots benefit from a blend with greater moisture retention.
    • Biodegradable pots are made from compostable natural materials. Because they dry quickly and allow roots to breathe, they pair well with a blend that retains more moisture.

How to Repot Your Plant

  1. Remove the plant from its current pot. Squeeze or tap the pot, turn it on its side, and gently ease the plant out while supporting the base. Loosen the outer roots gently with your fingertips and remove only the excess old soil.
  2. Lay a layer of leca at the bottom of the new pot.
  3. Fill up a pot with fresh soil to about one-third to one-half of its depth.
  4. Place the plant in the center of the pot and support it with one hand. Add soil around the roots, pressing gently to remove large air pockets without compacting the mix.
  5. Water the plant thoroughly, allow it to drain, and return it to a suitable location.
